Terms and Conditions

The customer shall pay a 50% deposit as acceptance of the quote, which constitutes the acceptance of these terms and conditions.

All final payments are to be made in full on completion, including any extra costs, by the person’s name on the quote.

If payment is not received within 14 days of the due date a late fee of $50 per week overdue, will apply.

All guarantees and warranties offered by White Patch Industries are void unless payment is made in full on completion.

All goods and materials remain the property of White Patch Industries until all accounts are paid in full.

Additional charges will apply if job is changed or modified after quote acceptance.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the details given on this quote are correct and correctly describes the work to be done. The work will be carried out in accordance with this quote and any variations will be an extra cost.

Reasonable operating costs, at White Patch Industries’ sole discretion, will be deducted from deposit / progress payments if job is cancelled after materials are purchased or delivered.

White Patch Industries may enter upon the customer’s premise or elsewhere at any time including buildings, removing any locks or take all such action to gain entry to take possession of and remove any goods and materials for which payment has not been received and in which property has not passed from White Patch Industries. The customer agrees that White Patch Industries will not be responsible for any damage to the customer’s property in obtaining the goods and will keep White Patch Industries indemnified against any claims at all times.

Any costs associated with collecting outstanding accounts are to be paid by the Customer and the Customer agrees that information may be given to a Credit Reporting Agency for the purposes of creating and maintaining credit information (Privacy Act 1988). In the event where your overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, you will be liable for all costs which would be incurred as if the debt is collected in full, including legal demands costs.

Any installation date given is subject to change without notice.

White Patch Industries is not responsible for delays resulting from weather, supply issues or other circumstances beyond our control.

Installations will not go ahead in wet weather and will result in delays in installation and delays in anticipated start and completion dates.

The customer is to supply water and electricity needed for all installations.

Pool fencing will be constructed in accordance with the Queensland Government Law. The customer is to organise and maintain temporary fencing as required.

Fencing quotations are based on digging into soil. Any digging into reactive soil, rock, tree roots, building rubble or similar is a variation and will incur additional charges at the nominated rate.

Any damage to underground utilities, pipes, gas, electricity, sewer or pool pipes etc. are the sole responsibility of the customer unless an EXACT plan of utilities is given to White Patch Industries. The customer is responsible for obtaining the utility plans from Dial Before You Dig and providing them to White Patch Industries 3 business days prior to start date.

White Patch Industries accepts no responsibility for any damage to plants, trees shrubs or grass during installations. White Patch Industries needs to have clear access.

White Patch Industries take precautions to prevent damage to your property and is not responsible for any pre-existing structural issues or damage arising during or after our engagement due to pre-existing issues.

It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain all necessary council or government approval where applicable.

The customer is responsible for the exact location of the fence. White Patch Industries will discuss fence location prior to commencing work.

White Patch Industries is not liable for any property boundary disputes.

The customer is responsible for levelling the ground before installation starts to avoid gaps under the fence or if the fence is built following ground level, variations in finished height may occur.

It is the customer’s responsibility to fill any gaps under the fence and to supply and install suitable fabric, drainage and backfill after retaining wall construction and an appropriate curing time for concrete.

Additional dump fees will apply if the Customer requests the disposal of any trees, bushes shrubs, vines, wire or rubbish cleared or concrete / rock broken up to install the fence otherwise removal and disposal is the Customers responsibility. We are unable to remove soil from sites and material excavated from post holes will be neatly spread around the area.

Removal of the old fence means only material used in the construction of the old fence and above ground materials only. It does not include cutting, trees, bushes, vines, wire, fibro, etc. which had grown over the fence and was needed to be cleared to install the fence. Additional charges will apply if site is not prepared appropriately.

White Patch Industries will install patio’s/carport’s/shed’s as per the plan specifications.

Construction materials are subject to manufacturer’s warranties, please contact us for Terms & Conditions. Final paid invoice must be presented for Warranty.

All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months. Damages caused by wear and tear, misuse, accidental or malicious damage or environmental factors is not covered by warranty.

Materials of fencing grade treated pine; being a natural product will contain knots, cone holes, pith and other defects. Being exposed to the elements it may suffer from some shrinkage, cracking, twisting or bowing. This is a natural trait of the timber for which White Patch Industries cannot be held responsible.

We do not recommend the painting of treated pine as the use of unsuitable products can cause excessive warping, twisting and cracking which will not be covered under warranty – please consult a specialist paint supplier.

White Patch Industries cannot take responsibility for any mistakes after printing. Please double check all spelling/details when proofing your signage design.

The customer is responsible for their vehicle being clean prior to wrap/signage application. Any extra cleaning will incur additional charges.
STATUTORY WARRANTIES

The work will be performed in a workmanlike manner in accordance with the details in the quote.

All materials supplied by the contractor will be new and fit for the purpose intended.
-
The work will comply with the home building act and other laws.
-
The work will be done with due diligence and within the time set out in the contract if any.
